The overcast was clearing and the wind picking up as I got in the water. The air temp was 64°. I'd spoken to Tom after he got out and he thought the water temp was 56°. He has lost some weight recently and it seems to of uncalibrated his toes because I measured a very comfortable 59°. I did my first loop counterclockwise and by the time I arrived at the end of the pier it was pretty bumpy, with a 1' +/- chop out of the SW. All of the legs were different with the one from the reef buoy to the end of the pier the most work and the last two legs each easier than the once before. That's a nice way to finish.
I'll be back Tuesday morning at 7.
