Avila at 7AM was foggy with sufficient visibility to easily swim the buoy line. Two triangles was today's route. The water was 57°and flat with some red funk and no pelicans checking me out.
The crew that is working on the pier has been near the buoy line all summer. I've been told that this project to replace all of the decking and guardrail will be completed by the end of this year. Unless they find an additional 20 workmen this crew may get to the end of the pier by December of 2025.
