The swimming conditions this morning were great. The water temp was about 60°, the air was 62°, the water was flat and glassy and the sky was grey.

Jim and Adam joined me today. Jim has swum with me once before. He is getting back into the open water thing after an absence. Adam was in San Luis Obispo from New Hampshire with his son for orientation at Cal Poly and dropped by to get in the water. We swam the Cal Poly Pier loop.  

This egret was perched on the pier checking out the breakfast buffet.
