This morning was the nicest Avila has been since last summer. At 7:30 it was 65°, sunny and calm with 53° water, 2 foot plus surf and clean water. Duke, Niel and Sarah got in at 8:05 and swam a couple of triangles. The swim was very relaxing and enjoyable and not being cold when we got out was really nice. The swell was starting to pick up near the end but it was just enough to give the last leg some character.

I spoke to Tom Lorish briefly near the start of the west line of swim buoys.
Duke and Sarah will swim Thursday at 8, I'll probably be getting in about 8:30.
