Avila Beach was bright and sunny this morning and 70° at 7:30. There was a light offshore wind but the water was pretty smooth and 51°.  The surf was minimal.

Tiki, myself and a new friend got in a bit after 8. The new guy (sorry about forgetting your name)  is a member of the Dolphin Swimming Club in San Francisco and moved here a year ago.  He swam a mile bareback and Tiki and I did 2.25 miles.

Tiki and I will swim tomorrow at 11.
