Swimming today were Stephanie, Amy, John, Duke and Tom. Rick and Niel were on the beach.  Everybody swam some variation of the buoy line. The air temperature was about 80 with no wind and the water was 60 degrees, clear with small waves.  I gave Tom my camera. He took a lot more pictures than I do because he is usually the first one to finish a leg and I'm off the back, so, today's blog is a story in photos.

Duke said that the water felt almost 10 degrees colder under the pier.

Coming in

How about this! We were joined by Big Steve, Nan and Big Steve's beach blanket.
It was very nice to see them at the beach.

I would like to give a special thanks to Jeff Mallett for putting into pictures and words a humorous view of the multi-sports athlete experience.
