I was out of town so Tom provided this week's swim report.

It was a breezy summer day at Avila. A little on the cooler side, but tepid weather did nothing to deter the construction of the weekend shantytown along the water line.
Swimming today was Sylvia and Tom. Both did some form of the bouy line at their own pace. The water was about 55-56 in most spots with it dipping down to 43 in the crazy cold water uprising located under and next to the pier on the west side. There was bit of a chop, but all in all it was a good day for swimming.
