Avila was calm and overcast. The water was flat but there was an occasional set of waves. The water temperature was 54 degrees. John, Niel, Rob, Mark and Byron got in the water. Rob was kicking with his fins and hand place. Niel, Mark and Rob swam half of the buoy line while Byron and John continued on to do a triangle and a half, for a total of 1.6 miles. Rob stayed in and played in the surf.
We wll be swimming Friday evening at Lopez and Sunday at 11.
