Tom's Swim Report -
Interesting day of swimming at Avila. Their temperature was about 55 when I got in at 10 AM. The water temperature was 48 or 49°. There is a decent swell and a roll to go along with it. It made for interesting swimming. I stayed on the east side out of respect for the possible high bacteria count. The water was pretty normal once I got out past the gate on the Avila Pier. From what I saw, it was less than an inch of rain from Saturday until today. There was a muddy, distinct line in the water on the east side out to about the gate. Then the water was pretty much normal beyond And out at fossil point it was totally normal.
