Tom's Thursday swim report: it was 53° when I arrived at Avila this morning. Blue skies with some very cool cloud formations. There was a nice swell with 3 to 4 foot waves, and a bit of a breeze that ended up, kicking up more as I swam. The water temperature was 49, 50 and was less than pristine after the rain last night, but out beyond the break it was cleaner. I'll be back Saturday to swim with the Cal poly women's water polo team. Should be a fun day.
