It was pretty simple this morning. Duke swam his sprint course. I went retro and swam two laps of the buoy line. Tom got in at 9 as I was walking out and swam off to commune with the spirits of the water.
It was sunny and 54°. The water temperature was 58°. The surf was 2 to 3 foot and there was no sign of the Huntington Beach oil spill having made it 200 miles north to mess up our beaches. The wind woke up at 8:30 and was starting to chop up the surface as I got out.
The Wild Women will swim at 5 on Wednesday evening. They meet up at the lifeguard tower on the left of the pier.
Duke and I will swim at 8:30 on Thursday.
