I got in at on the right side of the pier 9. Tom got in at the about the same time on the left side of the pier. We spent an hour swimming in the same part of the ocean and never saw each other until we got out. It was great out there this morning. Avila was sunny, 62° and still calm. The water was 54° and pretty smooth until closer to 10 o'clock. I was ready for colder (51°?) water because of the strong winds so I was a happy swimmer at 54°. Today was an X marks the spot/melted hourglass route, just something different.
I expect that I will see Jodi and Tiki Saturday morning for the 8 AM swim.
